Perspectives is a trio which aims to explore the delicate balance between composition and improvisation
The music, conceived by the drummer and bandleader Giovanni Nardiello, as well as being the summary of his musical journey, straddling rock, jazz and improvised music, aim to actively involve the musicians and make them part of the compositional process, thanks to the freedoms granted by the compositions
This means that the aesthetics of the group is the result of the journey and experiences of each individual involved into the project, making the collective sounds as a single entity.
The project was born in 2022, and performed in various festivals and clubs in Europe such as Sound Jazz Club in Bruxelles, unTubo and Jazz in Sardegna. At the moment they are working on their first record, which will be released in 2026
